Job summary

White Cap is seeking a warehouse associate to support operations, including loading, unloading, picking, packing, and shipping. You will help prepare items for pickup or delivery, ensuring accuracy and safe handling, with potential forklift operation and occasional driving to pick up or deliver materials.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment; HS Diploma or GED and 0-2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, sorts, picks, stocks, stages, and transports materials in the warehouse.
• Prepares items for shipment or pickup by packaging with shrink wrap, strapping, or protective methods.
• Verifies product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Installs protective devices to prevent damage during transport.
• Operates forklifts or other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety policies.
• Assists customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials.
• May drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials.
