Job summary

White Cap is hiring for a warehouse associate to support loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. You will prepare items for pickup or delivery, secure them for transport, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves operating forklifts, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting customers or subcontractors with orders. Prior experience is helpful, with HS Diploma or GED preferred, and an on-site, Ohio-based position.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, sorts, picks, stocks, stages, and transports materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Prepares items for shipment or pickup by securely packaging materials using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods.
• Verifies product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Installs protective devices to prevent damage during transport.
• Operates forklifts or other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety policies.
• Fulfills orders or locates materials for customers, installers, or subcontractors.
• May drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.
