Job summary

Summit Electric Supply in Irving, TX seeks a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory control. You will learn product knowledge and industry best practices while contributing to a safe, efficient warehouse operation.

As entry-level opportunities exist, you will develop skills and knowledge to advance within Summit and the Sonepar group. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Time management: strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
• Flexibility to adapt to change.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate standard warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintain safe practices and uphold Summit’s commitment to a safe workplace.
