Job summary

Aramark in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Warehouse Worker to receive, inspect, label, and prepare products for transport while maintaining FIFO and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced facility.

You will operate manual and possibly electric pallet jacks or forklifts, conduct routine counts, and complete paperwork or digital records while keeping work areas clean and safe. This role may require lifting up to 50 lb and occasional driving duties at client sites.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb.
• Some client locations require a current valid driver's license; MVR may be checked during pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items accurately, and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store incoming products, apply FIFO inventory controls for perishable items.
• Operate manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts as needed.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow all SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload and transport products to different areas or client locations; use carts or powered vehicles as required.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts according to location schedules.
• Complete administrative duties and records, paper or digital (hand-held or PC).
• Maintain clean work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading dock, and PPE usage.
• Follow location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures.
• Protect client and company assets and communicate with clients, employees, vendors, and guests as required.
