Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Worker to receive, inspect, label, and organize products; perform inventory counts and quality control; and transport items as needed. The role requires adherence to safety standards and SOPs.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining clean work areas, and complying with OSHA and PPE requirements. The position may involve operating pallet jacks or forklifts and occasional driving for client locations.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb.
• Some client locations require a current valid driver’s license. If this is required, an MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items accurately and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store incoming products in assigned locations, apply FIFO inventory controls for perishable products.
• May require training and operation of pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload and transport products and materials to different areas; may use carts, PIVs, or motor vehicles.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on location schedules.
• Complete administrative duties such as inventory records, temperature/spoilage logs, and equipment inspections.

Education

High school education or equivalent

2 years warehouse experience
