Job summary

Aramark Warehouse is seeking a dependable worker in Knoxville to support receiving, labeling, and inspection of products for accurate reconciliation with invoices. You will organize inventory using FIFO methods for perishables and prepare orders for transport while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities include routine inventory counts, basic administrative records, and potential operation of pallet jacks or forklifts.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb.
• Some client locations require a current valid driver's license. If this is required, an MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting products, labeling items and reporting discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices.
• Organizing and storing incoming products using FIFO inventory controls for perishable products.
• May require training and operation of a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts.
• Picks inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload and transport products/materials to different areas of the warehouse and/or client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts.
• Complete administrative duties including inventory documents, temperature/spoilage logs, equipment inspections.
• Clean work areas including restrooms, break areas, loading dock, and PPE usage.
• Implement safety policies and use PPE.
• Take measures to ensure security of client and company assets.
• Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests.
