Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequently and/or 35 lb.
• Some locations require a valid drivers license; MVR may be run.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products using FIFO for perishables.
• Train and operate a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload and transport products within the warehouse and to client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on location schedules.
• Complete records such as inventory counts, temperature and spoilage logs, and equipment inspections.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; enforce safety policies and PPE usage.
• Ensure security of client and company assets.
• Interact with clients and staff as required.
