Job summary

Aramark in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Warehouse Worker to handle receiving, labeling, organizing, and order fulfillment while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, basic math and computer skills, and 18+ age with HS diploma preferred. Prior warehouse experience is a plus and training on pallet jacks/forklifts may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills; ability to read and write at a basic level.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products; apply FIFO for perishable items.
• Operate pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or forklifts if trained.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products to warehouse areas or client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts and maintain logs.
• Complete administrative duties (inventory documents, temperature/spoilage logs, inspections).
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety PPE and OSHA standards.
• Protect client and company assets and interact with clients and vendors as required.
