Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Columbia, SC to receive and process incoming products, prepare orders for transport, and maintain inventory and quality control in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards.

You will label items, use FIFO for perishables, operate pallet jacks or forklifts as needed, perform routine inventory counts, and keep records. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork within a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb.
• Some client locations require a current valid driver's license; an MVR may be run.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products using FIFO for perishables.
• May require training and operation of pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload and transport products within the warehouse or client sites.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on location schedules.
• Complete administrative duties including inventory counts, temperature and spoilage logs, and equipment inspections.
• Keep work areas clean and follow safety policies; wear PPE as required.
• Ensure security of client and company assets and interact with stakeholders as required.
