National Oak Distributors, Inc. is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team in Alabama.

The role focuses on receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities with emphasis on accurate order picking, packing, labeling, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will be proficient with RF scanners, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with order picking and packing.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and data entry.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and order processing.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments, verify against orders.
• Sort and store inventory in designated locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Prepare shipments with proper packaging and labeling.
• Operate pallet jacks and other handling equipment safely.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain stock accuracy.
• Load/unload trucks and ensure safe handling of goods.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with shipping/receiving documentation and data entry.
