Job summary

WEG Electric Corp is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, pick, pack, and distribute materials within the warehouse. Primary duties include moving items, sorting on racks, and assembling customer orders for shipping.

The role requires 6–12 months of related experience, HS diploma or GED preferred, and the ability to operate a sit-down/stand-up forklift with safety awareness. Physical lifting up to 50 lbs is routine, with occasional heavier handling.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 6–12 months of related warehouse experience.
• Proficiency with material handling and basic safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Move materials from receiving to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks or shelves by size, type, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions and requests for materials or other stock items.
• Assemble customer orders and place on pallets or at packing/shipping stations.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and containers as needed.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Operate forklift to transport stored items for shipment.
• Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
