Job summary

WEG Electric Corp is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distributing materials within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklifts and basic warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities include moving items between receiving and storage, preparing orders for packing, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, and familiarity with palletizing and shipping processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating a sit-down/stand-up forklift and reach truck and the ability to become certified.
• Knowledge of order picking, receiving product, understanding how to piece orders together, and outbound product loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare for packing/shipping.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Operate forklift to transport stored items to packaging area for shipment.
