Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Mechanicsburg, PA, seeks a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, pick, pack, and distribute materials in our fast-paced facility.

You will work with forklifts and pallet moves to prepare orders for shipment. Ideal candidates have HS diploma, 6–12 months related warehouse experience, and ability to operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts; safety-minded and able to count and record inventory.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6–12 months related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and become certified on sit-down/stand-up forklifts.
• Basic knowledge of order picking, receiving, packing, and outbound loading.

Responsibilities

• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Operate forklift to transport stored items from shelves to package area for shipment.
