Job summary
La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Oakdale, PA is hiring for a Z-Dock Associate II to assist in offloading, receiving, shipping, storage and distribution of products in a warehouse setting. The role requires operating forklifts and cherry pickers, lifting up to 350 lbs, and recording inventory movements in the system.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of warehousing experience, forklift certification, and good communication skills.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience with 1-2 years in warehousing, receiving, shipping or storage.
- Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience a plus.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Receive, transport and stock inbound products; lifting and material handling.
- Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound products.
- Record stock locations in perpetual inventory system using the proprietary tools.
- Perform inventory cycle counts daily, weekly or monthly as required.
- Operate heavy industrial power equipment and work at heights with fall protection.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and comply with safety regulations.
