Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to assist with offloading, receiving, storing, and shipping products. The role involves barcode scanning, inventory updates, and safe operation of forklifts and cherry pickers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in warehousing, forklift certification, and basic computer skills; physical ability to lift up to 350 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping or storage.
• Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for inventory logs and databases.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to move heavy items (up to 350 lbs.) for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive, transport and stock inbound products from facilities and suppliers; include lifting and use of material handling equipment.
• Place and stack stock for storage and record stock locations in the inventory system.
• Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound product to shipping lanes.
• Match serialized product to orders and update locations in the system.
• Perform inventory cycle counts daily, weekly or monthly as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and participate in training and safety initiatives.
