Job summary

Cardinal Health in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to join our flexible-shift team. The role offers Sundays 6:00pm–2:30am or Fridays 8:00pm–4:30am, with additional shifts available and a self-selected weekly schedule (8–29 hours expected).

You will fulfill orders, perform packing and shipping tasks, and may train on material handling equipment. Benefits include paid time off; inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with heights up to 30 feet.
• Able to work in cold environments (freezer/refrigerator).
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, quality checks, packing, and preparation for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider).

Cardinal Health - Warehouse Associate II

Flex Schedule: Sundays 6:00pm- 2:30am or until finish and/or Fridays 8:00pm-4:30am or until completion (Remainder of the work week you can get as many or as few hours as you prefer. You choose based on available shifts. 8-29hrs weekly)

Candidate will be required to work one mandatory shift per week that is scheduled in advance by the business (recruiter may input required day by site if applicable). Any additional shifts may be selected by candidate (e.g., candidate will have a mandatory shift every Sunday from 6:00PM - 2:30AM and candidate may determine whether to select any additional available shifts).

Anticipated hourly range:

$20.50 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on time order delivery.

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!
