The Warehouse Associate II must be familiar with all areas of the fork truck driving procedures for safely loading and unloading trucks to maintain efficient, safe operations. The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for all order picking, order verification and loading of customer or carriers' vehicle in a safe manner. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities.
Qualifications Required H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, logistics manufacturing environment Required 6 months of GAF experience in Logistics and Shipping position- (Warehouse I) Required Experience supporting logistics, customer care and business goals General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to respond to requests in a professional and timely manner Demonstrated intermediate communication and interpersonal skills Strong planning, prioritization, organizational and reporting skills Independent problem-solving skills A demonstrated commitment to safety Highly self-motivated Ability to work well unsupervised, while producing quality results Strong teamwork orientation Ability to work well and communicate well with other GAF employees, at all levels in the organization Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to troubleshoot and solve logistics, carrier and customer challenges Advanced proficiency in GSuite Familiar with standard warehouse concepts, practices and procedures Experience in fast-paced warehouse environment and safe fork truck operation
