Job summary

American Tire Distributors in North Carolina is hiring a part-time Warehouse I to pick and stage products for orders, move items weighing up to 150 pounds, and help close out daily warehouse activities. The role requires safe operation of forklifts and other equipment, and maintaining licenses as needed.

You will compile reports on damaged stock, over/under shipments, and returns, assist in inventory counts, organize stock, and support loading and unloading at delivery docks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to assist in loading and unloading.
• Data entry of product numbers and inventory placement.
• Assist with paperwork and warehouse closing procedures.
• Compile and submit reports on damaged/outdated stock and returns.
• Load/unload delivery trucks; handle tires and heavy items.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
• Organize warehouse stock by product line.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Prioritize and pick materials for order fulfillment.
• Verify incoming/outgoing products for quantity, size, type.
