Job summary

American Tire Distributors, a leading tire distributor, is seeking a Warehouse I to support order fulfillment and stock organization across the Carrollton facility. You will pick products, stage orders for loading, and assist in daily warehouse closing procedures.

The role requires physical lifting up to 50 pounds, operation of forklifts/pallet jacks, and adherence to safety and inventory standards. 0-1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree is required.
• 0-1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to assist in loading and unloading and enter product numbers using hand-held devices.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as paperwork handling and warehouse closing procedures.
• Compile and submit reports on damaged, outdated stock, over/under shipments, and returns to vendors; segregate defective items from regular inventory flow.
• Data entry of product numbers and inventory placement to ensure accuracy.
• Load and unload delivery trucks; handle tires and heavier items with team lifting.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and maintain required licenses.
• Organize warehouse stock by product line and ensure space for overflow.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and housekeeping; keep floors clean and bathrooms tidy.
• Prioritize and pick materials for order fulfillment and stage for loading.
• Verify incoming/outgoing quantities and report shortages to management.
