Job summary

HuFriedyGroup in Des Plaines, IL is hiring for a Warehouse Associate I to pick and pack orders, assemble, ship, and receive customer products, while maintaining accurate documentation.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, perform safety-conscious material handling, lean initiatives, daily cycle counts, and operate forklift as needed; a collaborative team will value your reliability and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related Warehouse Experience or shipping/receiving experience.
• OSHA Certified Forklift Operator - preferred; training paid for if not currently certified.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Distribution/Warehouse functions per procedures.
• Select, check, pack, palletize, and label orders for shipment.
• Receives product and processes documentation accurately.
• Coordinates staging and safe transfer to storage areas.
• Inspects goods for damages and count discrepancies.
• Maintains warehouse reports of product location and status.
• Ensures timely shipment by coordinating with internal staff.
• Operates forklift or related material handling equipment.
