Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate I in Grand Prairie, TX. Under direct supervision, you will receive, unpack, check, and stow materials, pick and pack orders, operate basic power equipment, and assist with light assembly. You will perform quality checks and report issues to the Lead.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Utilization of various forklifts and machinery equipment
• High School Degree or equivalent preferred
• On a continuous basis: work in a standing position, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with both LTL and UPS shipping
• Good communication, data entry, basic math and organization skills
• Experience working with standard hand and power tools
• Ability to work in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Off-loading trucks utilizing forklift and pallet jack
• Verify that the quality, type, and amount of materials received are accurate
• Breaking down freight – Hand off-loading of product to consolidated put-away location
• Picking product orders – Hand loading product to pallets
• Packaging outbound shipments – Wraps, straps or over pack boxing of product
• Manifesting UPS shipments
• Create bills of lading for truck carriers
• Produce and attach identifying tags to product or shipments
• Fulfills all safety responsibilities
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor/Lead
