Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our RDC team in California. You will accurately process receiving, transfers, picks, packs, and ships, using RF barcode scanners and various material handling equipment.

Responsibilities include tagging pallets, restocking, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. A minimum ½ year in warehouse ops with RF/equipment is preferred, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and strong basic math skills.
• Minimum ½ year experience in warehouse operations with RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap machine.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and well organized.
• Cooperative team like attitude.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Handling of product per the RDC standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• General warehousing duties (restocking shelves and housekeeping).
• Ability to multi-task and transition between tasks quickly.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by RDC Management.
