Job summary

Benjamin Moore is seeking a warehouse associate in Illinois to support the distribution center operations. You will handle order picking, packing, loading, and inventory checks while following safety guidelines and SOPs.

The role requires operating material handling equipment, counting stock, and ensuring accurate shipments. Overtime and weekends may be required, with benefits supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be cross functional.
• Operate facility MHE including pallet rider, order picker, forklift, reach truck, or dock stocker.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication).
• Ability to work safely and follow SOPs.
• Lifts 60 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines; use required safety equipment.
• Maintain high product quality and clean work area/equipment.
• Communicate upgrades to supervisor to improve efficiency.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet rider, order picker, forklift, reach truck).
• Maintain and charge battery connections for MHE.
• Pick and assemble customer orders; secure pallets for loading.
• Verify order accuracy with carton counts and IDs.
• Document shipments with correct delivery addresses.
• Support receiving, put-away, replenishment, and truck loading as needed.
• Load delivery vehicles and secure shipments.
• Count inventory during physical counts and ensure accuracy.
• Remove damaged stock and process returns in the system.
• Process nonregulated UPS shipments via UPS WorldShip.
• Use warehouse management scanners and follow 5S practices.
• Perform other duties as required.
