Job summary

Voith US Inc. in York, PA, is hiring for a Warehouse Associate I on 2nd shift (8pm–6am). You will handle shipping/receiving, load/unload trucks, and manage toolbox shipments for field operations, with exposure to international shipments based on sales orders.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and solid experience in inventory, packing, and MRP-driven invoicing. Competitive benefits are offered with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred; 3+ years of related experience or training.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of computers and Windows software.
• Strong knowledge of inventory practices and procedures.
• Good product knowledge to resolve inventory issues.
• Solid pick and pack techniques for shipping inventory.
• Familiar with hand and power tools.
• Experience with UPS/Fed-Ex/LTL shipping.

Responsibilities

• Perform fast paced, accurate shipping and receiving duties.
• Load and unload trucks inside and outside.
• Deliver and retrieve parts to/from the assembly area.
• Inspect/maintain MHE per checks.
• Support field service by arranging toolbox shipments.
• Create commercial invoices from the MRP system for exports.
• Post shipments and scan documents.

The hours for this position are 8pm - 6am

This position is $21.00 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential.

30 minute lunch is paid!

Summary:

The incumbent in this job is responsible for shipping and receiving materials and parts in the warehouse. The position also handles basic international shipping based on sales orders. The incumbent will also perform additional Logistics functions as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fast paced, accurate shipping and receiving duties as assigned.
• Loading and unloading of trucks both inside and outside.
• Delivery & retrieval of parts to and from assembly SHOP area.
• MHE inspection/maintenance checks.
• Support field service operations by arranging toolbox shipments
• Create commercial invoices from MRP system for export sales
• Post shipments & scan completed documents

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Minimum (3) years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• STRONG organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• STRONG working knowledge of computers and Windows software.
• STRONG knowledge of inventory practices and procedures.
• SUFFICIENT product knowledge in order to resolve inventory issues.
• STRONG pick and pack techniques for shipping of inventory.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• UPS/Fed-Ex/LTL shipping knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
• Must wear gloves and ear protection.
