Job summary

Position Overview

Based in St. Louis, Core & Main is a specialty distributor of water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products and services.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas such as racks, shelves or vehicles.
• Stack or pile materials including lumber, boards or pallets.
• Install protective devices such as bracing, padding or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage others to do the same.
• Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to customers.
• May operate forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience.

Requirements

• Ability to pass pre‑employment assessments.
• Valid driver’s license.
