Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Environmental Technician to support hazardous waste handling, packaging, and transportation in the Detroit area. You will maintain records, operate equipment such as forklifts, and complete required documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work outdoors in all climates.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Experience with basic computer-based training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Segregate, package, and transport hazardous waste per regulations.
• Maintain inventory and storage of materials in accordance with policies.
• Operate fork trucks to move containers and load/unload trailers.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by management.
