Job summary

Expeditors in Ellenwood, MD is seeking a warehouse associate to load/unload trucks, verify shipments and record accurate piece counts while putting freight away and taking photos as needed. You will work with Warehouse Management, Operations and Safety teams, follow OPS standards, ensure correct labeling, weighing, and put-away locations, and maintain a clean, safe facility.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 2 years in a warehouse, forklift certification, ability to stand long

Qualifications

• Read documents, manifests and delivery orders and follow instructions.
• Handle data entry and run macros/scripts accurately.
• Lift at least 25 lb and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks while verifying cargo and keeping accurate counts.
• Ensure safe operation of forklift and adherence to safety policies.
• Maintain proper put-away locations, labels, weights and dimensions.
