Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Material Handler at our Texas plant to safely load, unload and move materials. You will operate hand trucks and forklifts, assemble and load orders, and receive shipments following established procedures.

You will restock needs and support Production and Customer Service while training new staff and upholding safety guidelines. This role supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring reliable team collaboration, basic math, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good English writing and speaking skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic computer systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operates hand truck or forklift to move shipments.
• Assembles orders and loads shipments per SOPs.
• Prepares skids, straps, and stretch wraps.
• Receives incoming shipments per procedures.
• Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders.
• Receives, inspects, and stores merchandise or materials.
• Handles shipping orders and reception from vendors.
• Restocks corrugated and production needs.
• Collaborates with Production and Customer Service.
• Assists in training of new employees and adheres to safety guidelines.
