Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials and finished goods using a sit-down forklift and to load product onto trailers in a safety-focused environment. You will follow ISO and Amcor program requirements while maintaining accurate inventories and supporting daily warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of previous sit-down forklift operation experience.
• Previous warehouse loading/unloading experience.
• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Experience with inventories, pick sheets, shipping/receiving.
• Must be dependable and safe with equipment and PPE use.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Adheres to safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Pull, load and move merchandise according to pick/load sheets.
• Use equipment appropriate to each movement (sit-down forklift, pallet jacks).
• Perform cycle counting, repackaging and inventory consolidation.
• Assist in physical inventories and daily warehouse cleaning.
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety programs to maintain a safe workplace.
