Job summary

Spartan Surfaces is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support our Sparrows Point, MD facility. This role handles receiving, storage, picking, and staging of flooring materials to keep warehouse operations smooth and orders moving on time.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, reach truck experience, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required to meet shipping volumes and business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Reach truck experience required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to read packing lists and inventory records.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of flooring materials.
• Stock, organize, and maintain inventory in designated locations.
• Pick and stage orders for delivery or customer pickup.
• Load outbound shipments safely according to delivery requirements.
• Operate forklift and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and discrepancies.
