Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Harrisburg, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. Safely and efficiently perform a variety of duties in PBV's warehouse operations to support internal and external customers and meet business goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV equipment.
• At least six (6) months of forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/HMI skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Sorting and grouping skills.
• Must read and understand product labels and load ticket instructions.
• Must count large quantities of products and materials.
• Must read/hear and understand procedures for performing work.
• Must work in a warehouse environment that may be hot, humid, or cold.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy and quality of products received and shipped to customers.
• Performs all check-in/check-out duties and maintains records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets) per SOP.
• Counts goods returned to the plant by sales and delivery personnel; checks for damage or fullness.
• Interacts with automation systems and screens, voice pick system, and other warehouse systems to verify and record products and build pallets.
• Identifies machine faults and performs basic cleaning/maintenance on automation systems.
• Operates forklifts, HSPA Claw, walkie-rider pallet jack, wrappers, and other equipment to move products.
• Performs safety and pre-trip checks on assigned machinery.
• Performs janitorial tasks to maintain a clean space and follows GMP/food safety rules.
• Ensures accuracy and quality of work; performs other duties as assigned.
