Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the New Jersey/Oakland area. The role involves picking and packing orders, printing labels, and inspecting products to ensure accurate shipments.

You may operate forklifts or order pickers and must maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least one year of warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Attention to detail essential for packing accuracy and labeling.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment and confirm correct items and quantities.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipment with appropriate carriers.
• Record order and packaging information as required.
• Attach shipping labels and ensure compliance with DOT/IATA/IMDG where applicable.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Inspect containers and packing to meet specifications and SOPs.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ensure readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer inspections.
• Communicate and report incidents as needed.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
