Job summary

Kenco Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Oakland, NJ. You will be picking and packing orders, printing labels, and using equipment to prepare items for shipping and receiving. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Applicants should have a HS diploma (or equivalent) and warehouse experience; basic IT skills and physical stamina are required. This is an on-site position with standard warehouse duties and potential for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type of product.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets per regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specs are met.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
