Cardinal Health is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role in Utah. The position involves fulfilling orders, packing and preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

You will cross-train in multiple areas, assist with inventory control, and may be trained to drive material handling equipment such as forklifts and order pickers. This role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

• 1-2 years of warehouse or similar experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft.
• Good written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain safe, clean environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, etc.).

Schedule:

Sunday through Thursday 6:00pm -4:30am or until task is complete.

• 10-hour shift
• Days off Monday's, Friday's, and most Saturdays.

Pay rate:

$21.06 per hour (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Good written communication skills
• 1-2 years experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
