Cardinal Health, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role in Kansas City, MO. You will receive and fulfill orders, ensuring accuracy and quality while working in a fast-paced distribution setting.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, comfortable with heights, and readiness to train on material handling equipment. Training is provided; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• No warehouse experience required; training provided starting your first day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers/point of sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders including picking, packing and preparing for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participation in projects.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks; maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, order picker).

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Shift/Schedule

• 40 hours weekly
• 3rd Shift / Nights
• Sunday - Thursday 6:15pm - 2:45am
• Must work until tasks are completed
• Must be flexible to work other days if needed

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.

• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Qualifications
