Job summary

Summit Racing Equipment in Sparks, NV is hiring for a 1st shift full-time role. The position runs Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with a pay rate of $18.25 per hour.

You will process customer orders by picking products, perform putaway, and ensure productivity and accuracy standards. Requirements include ability to read, write and understand English, basic math, and comfort with scanners and computer devices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
• Must have basic math comprehension.
• Must be able to use technology (scanners, computers).
• Must be able to operate equipment safely for retail pick.

• Learn and gain experience in: Machine Operation, Quality & Inventory Control, Packaging, Picking/Shipping, Forklift Operation.

WINTER IS COMING - Work in town at Summit Racing Equipment in Sparks, NV This is a 1st shift full-time position. It is Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm and pays $18.25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Retail – Process customer’s orders by picking the specified product and quantity from the designated location and delivering the order to the Retail store.
• Process retail Putaway using the proper procedures.
• Complete assigned workload according to procedures to meet or exceed department productivity and accuracy standards.
• Effectively utilize system resources and equipment to process workload.
• Identify and communicate issues that would negatively impact on customer service, safety, teamwork, and/or the profitability of the company.
• Operate vehicles per company safety policy and guidelines.
• Assist other departments and employees as necessary.

General description

Requirements: Have ability to speak, read and understand English, and have basic math comprehension. Must be able to use technology (scanners, computers). Must have demonstrated safe operation of all equipment for retail pick: Mule Bigfoot Stock picker Forklift/reach truck Riding pallet jack Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve required performance standards. The position requires climbing stairs, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, lifting and continuous use of equipment. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs consistently. Must be able to maintain valid equipment certification
