Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lenexa, KS. You will own a variety of material handling duties, including receiving, loading/unloading, pulling/assembling customer orders, and inventory checks, with daily forklift and crane operation.

This role requires a High School diploma, a Certified Forklift Operator, and 1+ year of warehouse experience. You will maintain safety, accuracy, and organization while supporting stock replenishment and order fulfillment.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As a Warehouse Associate, we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties, including receiving, loading/unloading materials, pulling/assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. This position involves the daily use of forklifts and/or cranes.

Primary Objective:

Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Primary Function and Scope:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates crane forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, and performing general office maintenance, etc.
• May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Certified Forklift Operator
• Crane Forklift experience is a plus
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
