Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. in Salt Lake City is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily material handling, order pulling and assembling, inventory checks, restocking, labeling, and cycle counts to ensure accurate, ready-to-ship orders.

You will receive inbound shipments, process returns, operate crane forklift equipment, maintain a clean, safe facility, and cooperate with team members. A High School diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, crane forklift experience, and 1+ year warehouse

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM!

Primary Objective:

Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Primary Function and Scope:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates crane forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, restroom, and performing general office maintenance, etc.
• May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Forklift Operator.
• Crane Forklift experience+
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

Competencies:

Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
