Charlie’s Produce in Seattle is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join a dedicated team operating in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.

You will handle receiving, stocking, picking orders, and FIFO product rotation, ensuring quality and food safety while supporting on-time deliveries.

This full-time night shift offers strong benefits, overtime opportunities, and a hands-on role in a leading West Coast produce company.

Qualifications

• English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

• Overtime when needed; shift is 8pm–4:30am.

Responsabilités

• Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, stocking, and management of produce inventory.
• Receive produce shipments, verify quantities and ensure quality.
• Compare packing lists to purchase orders to confirm accuracy.
• Check for damage or spoilage during transit.
• Rotate products using FIFO.
• Maintain warehouse in clean, orderly condition; no product left on floor.
• Report any food safety or quality concerns to management.
• Perform picking and put-away duties as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Description

Shift:

8PM - 4:30AM (or until work is done)

Job Summary:

You will be part of a team of people that work together in an environment that is friendly, yet productive.

Meets daily with supervisor to discuss daily duties such as location, area, aisle to be assigned to and worked. Maintain warehouse stock as requested by shipping as well as our warehouse inventory management program. Picking and receiving product as needed. Operators will be responsible for checking quality on product going into stock as well as assuring product is safely placed into inventory.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the efficient and accurate receiving, stocking, and management of produce inventory
• Receiving produce shipments, verifying quantities, and ensuring quality.
• Comparing packing lists to purchase orders to confirm accuracy.
• Checking for damage or spoilage during transit
• Responsible for product rotation, FIFO (first in, first out).
• Maintain the warehouse in clean and orderly condition. Ensure no product is left on the floor.
• All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor or key personnel if they witness any compromise about food safety or food quality.
• Perform other duties such as picking orders and put aways.
• Following company safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3-6 months of warehouse or wholesale picking experience
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (36-degrees) for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs frequently.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed. Shift is from 8pm to 430am (or until finish).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Riding Pallet Jack experience preferred.
• Experience with produce preferred.
