Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire.
• Valid state driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Execute various manual labor functions such as picking inventory, counting cargo, products and material and hand staging and loading goods using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the assigned area; prepare and assemble orders and move materials between receiving, storage and shipping areas.
• Manage sorting and placement of materials on racks, shelves, pallets or bins according to size, type, style, color or product code.
• Operate forklift once certified and required.
• Complete or verify forms, documents and labels to ensure inventory accuracy and proper receiving/delivery of goods.
• Assist with identifying operational concerns and notify coworkers to resolve them.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organize storage areas and equipment.
