Job summary

Ferguson in Gilroy, CA is looking for a Warehouse Associate to safely operate a stand-up forklift, pull and prepare outbound orders, and move pallets and packages. You will use RF devices to sort and scan, and receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.

Qualifications

• 1+ years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and accident free.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including PPE usage and weight limits.
• May be responsible for providing back-driver duties.
