Job summary

Vistar, a leading candy, snack and beverage distributor, is seeking a warehouse associate. The role supports safe, efficient shipping and receiving, maintains inventory and adheres to safety standards in a multi-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and keep work area safe.
• Review daily production paperwork and prep for operations.
• Perform forklift put-away, order selection, loading and receiving.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Complete vehicle inspection and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
