Job summary

U-Haul is seeking energetic Warehouse Workers in La Vergne, Tennessee to assist customers and ensure timely, accurate service. You will operate equipment, load and unload containers, and help with deliveries and pickups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and assist customers with sales of support items and use of dispatch systems.
• Conduct customer-ready inspections of U‑Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide documentation for delivery or pickup of goods.
• Keep the warehouse storage facility clean, dry and secure.
• Participate in ongoing education through U‑Haul University.
