Job summary

Stan Weaver & Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Jacksonville, FL to support daily warehouse operations and provide customer service for pickup orders.

The role involves forklift operation, order fulfillment, inventory control, and data entry while maintaining a safe, organized work environment in a growing national HVAC distribution company.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential, with forklift certification preferred or obtainable at hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification at hire.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate Forklift
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule and on demand pickups (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receiving, unloading, counting, and stocking physical inventory in the warehouse
• Arrange appropriate transportation of products using the courier’s software
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, inventory space and workstations neat and free of hazards
• Data entry, scanning documents, managing spreadsheets
• Perform inventory as necessary
• Assist with building maintenance as necessary
• Promote a safe working environment by following all relevant OSHA and company safety policies
• Performs other related duties as assigned
