Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Warehouse Associate to barcode and process new boxes, refile and move boxes, and perform bay consolidations. You will operate a picker forklift and other company equipment, completing safety checks before use and ensuring secure handling of goods.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the physical ability to lift 40–50 lb daily.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and clean background check.
• High School Diploma minimum.
• Problem solving skills to solve process problems.
• Physically able to perform labor intensive tasks daily (40–50 lb. lifting).
• Good eye/hand coordination and motor skills.
• Ability to work under time constraints and productivity requirements.
• Willingness to follow procedures and suggest improvements.
• Willingness to work at heights (12–14 ft.) and operate company equipment.

Responsibilities

• Barcode and process new boxes, pull access lists, and refile boxes.
• Process boxes scheduled for destruction and conduct bay consolidations.
• Operate a picker forklift or other equipment; perform safety checks before use.
• Move boxes to assigned areas and complete pickups and deliveries.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance and vehicle upkeep as needed.
• Return equipment to charging stations and prepare for overnight charging.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
