Responsibilities

As a warehouse associate, your daily tasks will include receiving parts from suppliers, shipping products to customers, opening boxes, picking, packaging/repackaging parts, using barcode scanning devices, operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, among other warehouse tasks. Additional tasks may include:

• Safely selecting, lifting, and moving parts up to 40 pounds from various heights.
• Working at heights of 20-30 feet is common.
• Loading small parcel carriers using mobile equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
• Sorting products and staging for proper warehouse storage.
• Verifying accuracy and quality of received materials.
• Replenishing parts in bins and racks.
• Concepting parts to fit locations.

This position requires prolonged standing/walking for 8 or more hours based on overtime and business needs; pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs; and repetitive bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Employees may cross-train across different warehouse areas depending on staffing needs. Overtime is based on business demands.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand basic English.
• Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with Click System is a plus.

A bonus applicant will have:

• At least 1 year of applicable experience in a production environment.
• At least 1 year of experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, order selectors, or reach trucks.
