Job summary

Wurth MRO, Safety & Metalworking is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, stocking, order filling, packing and shipping operations. You will receive, unload, inspect and verify incoming freight and ensure correct stock quantities and overstock placement.

You will prioritize orders, safely pick items, label appropriately, and prepare packages for shipping. Regular cycle counts and maintaining clean, organized warehouse space are required.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging and shipping.
• Receive and unload incoming freight by forklift, pallet jack, or by hand, and verify condition.
• Verify quantities entering stock and place overstock correctly.
• Prioritize and fill diverse orders using warehouse equipment and routing.
• Safely pick products and ensure proper packaging, labeling for shipping.
• Verify shipping orders match slips and load packages.
• Communicate and resolve issues like damages, shortages or inventory errors.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Maintain warehouse, supplies, and equipment; keep the facility clean and organized.
• All other duties as assigned.
