Job summary

Empire Auto Parts is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced distribution team in Charlotte, NC. You will receive, inspect, store, and prepare shipments, maintain accurate inventory, and help uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include order picking, packing, conducting routine counts, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and collaborating across departments to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 60 pounds.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Unafraid of heights up to 30 ft.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspection of shipments, documenting discrepancies.
• Storage and organization of products to optimize space.
• Order picking and packing with accurate labeling for shipment.
• Inventory management with regular counts and discrepancy reporting.
• Quality assurance and adherence to safety standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to meet goals.
