Job summary

Empire Auto Parts is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storage, and distribution of auto parts. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, pick and pack orders, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role involves lifting up to 60 pounds, operating basic warehouse equipment, and collaborating with diverse teams to meet shipping goals. Prior warehouse experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 60 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Unafraid of heights up to 30 ft.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and document any discrepancies.
• Storage and Organization: Safely and efficiently store products in designated areas, optimizing space utilization and maintaining a well-organized warehouse.
• Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring items are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.
• Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels. Identify and report discrepancies promptly.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards by handling products with care and attention to detail.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, vertical lifts and pallet jacks safely and proficiently.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to meet production and shipping goals.
