Job summary

Vistar in Nashville is hiring a Warehouse Worker to support shipping and receiving operations. You will help maintain inventory and ensure quality standards while maintaining efficient product flow through the distribution process.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and readiness to work in multi‑temperature environments. Benefits are provided and overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, break down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, reports unsafe conditions immediately.
• Performs daily safety checks of the forklift/pallet jack.
• Performs damage control checks on items received and coordinates with supervisor.
• Replaces batteries and completes vehicle inspection checklist.
• Prepares daily production paperwork and reviews work schedule.
• Wears all required PPE and safety gear.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Secures equipment and completes necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
